Society for California Archaeology - March 28, 2006

Eva and Adela were asked to give a talk at the Society for California Archaeology Annual Meeting this week in Ventura, CA.

Wednesday opening night we had a very good turn-out in the ballroom at the Marriott where the conference was being held. We combined our speeches with a Power Point presentation, explained about how we train our dogs and talked about some examples of different projects that we have worked.

Then we introduced our dogs. They were, as usually, flawless, finding teeth and grave soil hidden at various locations on the floor and behind chairs and tables. We had our poster set up in the Book Room and also held a poster session on Thursday afternoon.

Shelley Davis-King, president of Society for California Archaeology, presented us with this beautiful Certificate of Appreciation.
